Stagecoach in Hastings, part of Stagecoach South East but is marketed as part of Stagecoach in East Sussex and have been operating in the Hastings area for over seven years since their takeover of Hastings & District. Over the last year, passenger numbers have increased by about 5%. Stagecoach say this is because of continued investment, the introduction of new products and services and improving current products and services. All the improvements are in partnership with Hastings Borough Council and East Sussex County Council. Most of the company's routes are run with low-floor, easy access vehicles. == History == On Saturday the 8th August 2009 the Saturday night buses N1 and N2 was reintroduced and runs every hal hour from midnight to 4am. on January 22 2012, 11 new Alexander Dennis Enviro400 bodied Scania N230UD's were introduced on The Wave 99 that runs between Hastings and Eastbourne via Bexhill and Pevensey Bay. On Thursday 19 April 2012, 23 new Alexander Dennis Enviro200 Dart's were introduced on the local Hastings Arrow routes. From the 26 April 2015, Hasting saw a major reconstruction of its bus services. Route 2 was extended from Tenterden to Hastings Rail Station to replace routes 340 and 341. The Wave 100 and 101 also changed with buses serving Hasting every 30 minutes from Kent. The 101 was routed via Fairlight from Rye to replace route 344.
